Mystery Inc.

The Scooby-Doo series has always been very close to me while growing up, a bunch of kids playing detective (Which might be the reason why I love detective novels). The animated series has always caught my eye from the original "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!" and with the new CG "Scoob!" movie out this year, I've decided to put my creative skills to the test and render these awesome characters. I was not going for realism but more stylised, it's the reason why I didn't give them human eyes.

Sherlock-Doo (Special)
Sherlock-Doo can definitely give Sherlock Holmes a run for his money.

This was a last minute decision adding Sherlock-Doo to the Mystery Inc. piece. By throwing on Sherlock's famous detective hat and coat on Scooby-Doo, hopefully

Shaggy Rogers
Scooby-Doo's partner in crime as well as his long-time best friend.

Rendering Shaggy was extremely fun and interesting, especially trying to get his eyes and goatee correct and in the style I was going for.

Daphne Blake
Danger always seems to find it's way with the "Danger-Prone Daphne".

Rendering Daphne's face was definitely the highlight of her piece, adding some warmth towards her face really brings out the character and makes the character more believab

Fred Jones has always been the one who comes up with the booby traps to catch the culprits.

The interesting area with painting Fred Jones is the colour of his hair, I wanted him to look believable as well as realistic so I had to tone down t
